Peter is a filmmaker and President and co-founder of Slamdance. Since its inception as an alternative to the Sundance Film Festival, Peter has been responsible for developing Slamdance into a showcase for emerging artists organized by filmmakers for filmmakers. Peter is known for Wild in the Streets (2012), I Want to Be an American (2013) and Spirit Game (2017).
Stefano was raised in Salò. He studied Film History and Criticism at the University of Bologna. After his graduation he moved to Los Angeles to get his Master in Directing. There he directs two shorts “Napoleon's Charm” and “While God Is Watching Us”. His first feature “My Brother Chases Dinosaurs" (2019) won David of Donatello and EFA Young Audience Award.
Sandra was born in Berlin and raised in Mallorca Spain, she is the founder and director of the Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival (EMIFF), in Palma de Mallorca, Spain and founder of The Festival Key, a consulting agency that creates film festival strategies for filmmakers and consults film festivals to innovate and grow. Sandra splits her time between Mallorca and Los Angeles.
Lavinia began working in the world of cinema when she was a child alongside Virna Lisi in “Va dove ti porta li cuore” directed by Cristina Comencini. Among credits, including “Saimir” (awarded the Nastro d’Argento at the Venice Film Festival and Berlin Film Festival), “A Testa Alta” alongside George Pasotti and Ettore Bassi, “Il Sindaco Pescatore” alongside Sergio Castellitto.
With over 20 years' experience in the film industry, Vjosa is the co-founder and Director of Prishtina International Film Festival - PriFest. She produced two feature films,"The Flying Circus" (2019) with writer and director Fatos Berisha and co-produced the Macedonian film "The Happiness effect" (2019) with director Borjan Zafirovski. Vjosa is a member of European Film Academy since 2013.
Fatos is a film, television and theatre director with a degree from the University of Prishtina, Kosovo. During the war, as a refugee in Macedonia, he co-founded 'Dodona Theatre in Exile' directing children's plays with guest star Oscar winner Vanessa Redgrave. He is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Prishtina Intl. Film Festival. Fatos is a member of European Film Academy since 2011.
Luca, is an award winning director and producer. His first feature was the documentary "The Two Revolutions" (2015), for SkyArte while his narrative debut was "Calypso" (2019). In 2019 he directs and produce "That Click" a feature documentary about legendary photographer Douglas Kirkland featuring interviews with Nicole Kidman, Michelle Williams, Sharon Stone and many more.
Mario is a pianist, producer/songwriter, born in Foggia. At 18 he won a scholarship at Berklee College of Music in Boston, graduating in 2009. After his graduation, he moved to Los Angeles where he collaborated with: Tom Jones, Katy Perry, Dick Van Dyke, Carlos Santana and more. Back in Italy he worked with Renato Zero, Annalisa, Mario Biondi and Michele Merlo.
Born in Rimini. Graduated in Political Sciences, he attended the Tonino Guerra writing school in San Marino taking part in workshops with Fernando Solinas, Otar Iosselliani, Robbie Muller. He directed two shorts: Martelli (3rd prize at the Locarno Film Festival 1998) and L'albero dei mattoni (2001). Currently he is among the founders of Dogville and is managing Director at Santarcangelo dei Teatri
Based in Los Angeles, he has been working as a journalist and as social media strategist and content editor and producer at La Stampa. He is a member of the jury of Social Creative Awards and he has been recognized by Thrive Global as “one of the most influential under30 in publishing field today. He is the author of “Childfood”, a cookbook for children featuring 23 world renowned Chefs.
Anna was born in 1990 and was raised on Lake Garda. She graduated in Sociology in Bologna, and later moved to Rome, where she obtained a master degree in Cinema graduating with honors. She began her work as Casting Director, working on "Mio Fratello Rincorre i Dinosauri" by Cipani, "Tutt un’altra vita" by Pondi, "Non Odiare" by Mancini, "Il Silenzio Grande" by Gassmann and more.
Born in 1981, Mauro is a young director from Salento. After his studies at the National Academy of Cinema in Bologna, he started working as a music videos director for Sony and Universal. He directed more then 300 music videos for some of the most influential Italian and international artists.
He directed his first feature film "Cobra Non É" in 2019.
